Body Treatments

 What is a body treatment?
The service begins with a full body exfoliation which is done with light dry brushing with body brushes to allow the skin to receive the nutrients and minerals contained in the products to be applied to the skin.  Next mud or algae will be brushed onto the body and you will be loosely wrapped to allow the product to penetrate and while resting a face and next massage will be done followed by a tub treatment.   Finally a moisture rich lotion is applied. 

What benefits do body wraps offer?
Relaxation and detoxification.   Your body will absorb the minerals and nutrients which increases waste removal in the cells and purges the body of excess water.  An increase in circulation and an overall feeling of well being is to be expected.  

Mud or Algae which should I choose?
We offer both options.  Our Moor Mud is mineral rich and helps relieve swelling and joint pain.  It increases circulation, removes lactic acid from the muscles and encourages the body to eliminate excess water.  It is also very aromatic and imparts a deep feeling of relaxation.  

Algae delivers a deep detoxification as the body absorbs the seaweed and algae extracts.  Algae also increases circulation, increases cellulite burning hormones, encourages elimination of excess water and forces waste from the cells.  Its mineral rich properties nourish the cells increasing cellular function.  

What is a body scrub ?
Scrubs exfoliate dead skin cells and moisturize the skin.  You will feel baby soft and deeply relaxed after a body scrub.
